'Fat Man' model

A visitor uses a smartphone to photograph a life-size cutaway model of "Fat Man," the plutonium-type atomic bomb, at the Nagasaki Atomic Bomb Museum in Nagasaki, Nagasaki Prefecture.. The exhibit features a detailed internal view of the weapon's complex implosion mechanism and is accompanied by technical diagrams explaining the catastrophic scale of the August 9, 1945, explosion that leveled the city.
