RJ promotes Traci Wilson to vice president of digital strategy

Wilson succeeds Jim Prather, who retires on April 3.
“Traci has brought a notable sense of urgency to the video team’s daily operations, elevating breaking news video coverage, strengthening production quality and contributing to increased 7@7 video views during her time as director of digital broadcast,” said Keith Moyer, publisher and editor of the Review-Journal. “Her leadership will continue to advance a sustainable, subscription-driven digital future for the Review-Journal.”
Wilson will assume her new role on April 6.
“I’m excited to elevate to this new role,” Wilson said. “The Review-Journal is in a prime position to deliver the most innovative news content to the Las Vegas Valley across all digital platforms. As technology evolves, we must continue to evolve as well, and I look forward to being at the forefront of that effort.”
Wilson joined the Review-Journal in November 2024, bringing nearly 30 years of journalism experience, including roles as senior executive producer at 8 News Now and assistant news director at KTNV‑TV Channel 13.
She is a three‑time Emmy Award winner and a Nevada Broadcasters Hall of Fame inductee. Wilson is a graduate of the University of Tennessee.
“Her years of covering Las Vegas news and deep local market connections have enhanced our editorial coverage and will serve Traci well as she helps lead the next phase of our digital growth,” Moyer said.
