LETTER: When MAGA runs its course

Bob Valentine’s excellent May 29 letter to the editor should be required reading for the current MAGA group running the GOP. I strongly believe Mr. Valentine is embodying what “true,” non-MAGA conservatives feel. Of course, being conservative can mean different things to different people. But one thing they all have in common is true conservative values have no place, among other things, for self-serving graft and corruption. The pity is that, when MAGA has run its course — which it will — true conservatives will be left picking up the pieces.
