Clark County opens cooling stations as 110-degree heat wave arrives

With temperatures exceeding 110 degrees this week, Clark County has activated cooling stations across the Las Vegas Valley.

The cooling stations will be open Thursday through Sunday, with hours varying by location, according to a county release. The stations are located at community centers, libraries and other buildings in Las Vegas, North Las Vegas and Henderson.

Cooling station locations can be found at the Southern Nevada Homeless Continuum of Care’s website at helphopehome.org/get-help/.
