LETTER: China and EV dominance

Chris Boyd’s recent letter about EV’s and China’s dominance misses the big point. China has wind, solar and coal. Lots of coal. China has about 3,000 coal-fired plants producing electricity for its electrical grid and its electric cars. The United States has about 200. And you know why? Because people such as Mr. Boyd and his green friends have blocked clean coal.

I am 77 years old. I will not see the United States catch up to China’s lead in energy production because of the green agenda. Sad. When Lake Mead falls too low to produce electricity, it would have been cool to have had leaders who did not fall for the green thing.
