Trump’s Mobile Phone Has Not Shipped

A MoneyWise report says that Trump’s “Made in the USA” phone has not yet gone into production. More than half a million people put down $100 deposits for the phone, which was announced Jun. 16, 2025. However, nobody has reported receiving the phone, and Trump Mobile’s $ 47.45-a-month plan still says you need to bring your own phone to enroll.

The original delivery date was scheduled for the end of summer 2025, shortly after the company began accepting deposits. Then, the phone’s delivery date was pushed back three times—including in November and December 2025, and again in March 2026—until MoneyWise says the website where the delivery dates were shared took down the information.

The Website Now Has an Updated Terms and Conditions

Sadly, it seems anyone who put down a deposit could be out of luck. That’s because Trump Mobile updated its terms and conditions, and it now seems like the phone plan could be on pause indefinitely.

“A preorder deposit provides only a conditional opportunity if Trump Mobile later elects, in its sole discretion, to offer the Device for sale,” it says. “A deposit is not a purchase, does not constitute acceptance of an order, does not create a contract for sale, does not transfer ownership or title interest, does not allocate or reserve specific inventory, and does not guarantee that a Device will be produced or made available for purchase.”

Additionally, there is a line on there that says there’s “no guarantee of release, delivery, or timing.”

What Should You Do if You Put a Deposit Down

If you’re one of the more than half a million people still waiting for information about your gold Trump phone, you may have to keep waiting. As for how long you’ll have to wait to get an update, Senator Elizabeth Warren says she’s working on it.

In January, she rallied some of her fellow Democrats to ask the Federal Trade Commission to investigate the phone sale, not only because of questions about the delivery timing but also to confirm whether the phone would be made in the U.S., as they originally claimed.

However, an investigation doesn’t guarantee that you’ll get your money back.
