The 5 best Bonfire Night 2026 fireworks displays in London that are not yet sold out
by Amy Houghton · Time Out LondonHalloween is done and dusted. Next up: Bonfire Night. You know the drill – on the fifth of November, skies across Great Britain will be set alight to celebrate the failure of the Gunpowder Plot more than 400 years ago. Over the centuries, what started as a serious commemoration (bonfires and church services celebrating the king’s survival were written into law) is now a much more fun tradition, and simply a great excuse to get out the sparklers, chew on toffee apples and indulge in outdoor entertainment.
Actual Bonfire Night falls on a Thursday this year and while there will be some fireworks displays on that day, most shows are taking place over the weekend to make time for a whole load of revelries beyond the pyrotechnics. We’re talking DJs, drone shows, fairground rides, tribute bands and more.
Much-loved local shows at Coram’s Fields in Camden, Dulwich and Walthamstow Cricket Club are all sold out, but tickets for the capital’s most extravagant fireworks displays are still up for grabs. Here are five Bonfire Night 2026 shows you can still attend this weekend.

The best Bonfire Night fireworks displays in London 2026 with tickets still available
1. Alexandra Palace Fireworks and Drone Festival
Every year, Ally Pally hosts the fireworks show to end all fireworks shows. On both Saturday and Sunday, hundreds of fireworks will fly over north London and there’ll be drones throwing shapes in the sky, too. When that’s not going on, attendees can warm up by the roaring bonfire, sink pints at the German beer festival, go for a skate on the ice rink or join EastEnders star Shaun Williamson for Barrioke.
Tickets start from £11.50. Find them here.
Dates: Saturday November 7 and Sunday November 8
2. Battersea Park Fireworks
On the other side of the city, Battersea Park is also hosting two evenings of Bonfire Night celebrations. Go on Saturday for the regular fireworks plus a disco ceilidh, a DJ set from Rudimental and a live Latin band playing salsa, classic dura, and Afro-Cuban rhythms. Alongside the fireworks, Sunday’s entertainment will feature a Taylor Swift tribute, an electrifying performance by Lords of Lightning and a pop anthems afterparty. On both days, there’ll also be street food, cosy drinks and fairground rides.
Book tickets, which start from £18.60 for adults, here. Fair warning, they’re on ‘final release’.
Dates: Saturday November 7 and Sunday November 8
3. Blackheath Fireworks
Blackheath Common’s beloved fireworks display made an almighty return in 2025 following a six-year hiatus. And it’s back once again for 2026. This year, the event is taking place across a much larger site meaning there are more food stalls, more bars, more entertainment and capacity for 10,000 more attendees.
Entry starts from £17.60 – get tickets here.
Date: Saturday November 7
4. Wimbledon Park Fireworks
This is a two-part extravaganza that takes place on Bonfire Night proper. The first display is an early, more kid-friendly version and kicks off at 6.45pm. The second begins at 8.30pm and is more suited for adults. Beyond the multi-coloured explosives there’s a funfair with an observation wheel, a street food village and entertainment from DJ Lisa Maffia and BBC Radio 1 host Dean McCullough.
Get your tickets, which start from £15.60 for adults, here. Resale options are also available.
Date: Thursday November 5
5. Morden Park Fireworks
This display is the sister event to Wimbledon Park Fireworks. So, you can expect all of the same funfair rides, street food stalls and live entertainment, except on a Saturday instead of Thursday. Just like the fireworks at Wimbledon Park, there’ll be an earlier show at 6.45pm for kids and families to enjoy and a later one at 8.30pm for everyone else.
Tickets are available here. As with Wimbledon Park, there are also resale options.
Date: Saturday November 7
