The Dallas Opera is coming to one of the country's oldest radio stations

Listeners can hear The Dallas Opera on WRR 101.1 FM

Starting Monday, listeners can tune in to The Dallas Opera on WRR 101.1 FM, one of the country's oldest radio stations. It's part of the radio station's Concert Hall program.

The program will broadcast four shows from the 2025/2026 season. Those shows will lead up to the start of The Dallas Opera's 2026/2027 season on Friday, October 9.

Those shows will start every Monday night at 8 p.m.

Listeners can expect to hear the following shows:

• September 14: Bizet’s Carmen (performed live in French and recorded in October 2025)
• September 21: Poulenc’s Dialogues of the Carmelites (performed live in French and recorded in November 2025)
• September 28: Portman’s The Little Prince (performed live in English and recorded in February 2026)
• October 5: Verdi’s Don Carlo (performed live in Italian and recorded in March 2026)
