Got old electronics? Frost to host recycling events for Fort Worth residents

According to Frost, people are welcome to dispose of small appliances, printers, computers, laptops, VCRs, miscellaneous wires and metal objects.

Fort Worth residents are invited to get rid of their old electronics at a Frost recycling event provided by Secure On-Site Shredding, Inc.

The event will take place at any participating Frost Financial Center over four days, spanning from Sept. 16 to Oct. 2.

"The electronic devices will be properly recycled in order to keep dangerous materials out of landfills,” Frost said in a press release. “At our electronic recycling events, hard drives and other materials are disabled or destroyed so that no data or personal information can be accessed. "

According to Frost, people are welcome to dispose of small appliances, printers, computers, laptops, VCRs, miscellaneous wires and metal objects. They’ll take basically anything with a plug except old-style cathode ray tube TVs and monitors. Paper products will also not be accepted.

You can participate in the recycling event by going to the following locations on the following days:

  • Keller Financial Center on Sept. 16 from 10 a.m. to noon
  • Tanglewood Financial Center on Sept. 23 from 10 a.m. to noon
  • Grapevine Financial Center on Sept. 25 from 10 a.m. to noon
  • Colleyville Financial Center on Oct. 2 from 10 a.m. to noon
