The first reports of outages came just after 9:30 a.m. ET and quickly rose to nearly 20,000 after 10:30 a.m. ET, according to Downdetector.

That number dipped below 15,000 at 11:19 a.m. ET before it climbed again past 18,000 at 12:04 p.m. ET.

Spotify said earlier Tuesday it was "aware of some issues" and "checking them out." It followed that up hours later by saying the issues were impacting its app.

"We're aware of issues temporarily affecting our app," the company posted on X. "We’re actively working to quickly resolve them."
