Riyadh – Mubasher: Al Moammar Information Systems Company (MIS) has officially finalized a contract with the National Water Company (NWC) for the provision of specialized information technology services.
The agreement, valued at approximately SAR 64.83 million, including Value Added Tax (VAT), represents a significant addition to the company’s portfolio of public sector technology projects.
The contract spans a three-year operational period, with the financial impact expected to materialize starting from the second quarter (Q2) of 2026.
The announcement, released via the Saudi Exchange (Tadawul), confirms that MIS has completed all necessary procedures and received the fully executed contract from the NWC as of 18 June. This finalization follows an initial award notification that was issued on 24 March.
The formal signing ceremony took place on 15 June, marking the commencement of the legal and operational obligations between the two entities.
Under the terms of the agreement, MIS will be responsible for delivering a comprehensive suite of information technology services tailored to the requirements of the NWC.
While the specific technical specifications of the IT infrastructure or software solutions were not detailed in the regulatory filing, the scope of work is designed to support the digital and operational framework of the Kingdom’s primary water utility provider over a 36-month duration.
From a financial reporting perspective, MIS anticipates that the revenue generated from this contract will have a positive influence on its financial statements.
Shareholders and analysts can expect to see the initial financial reflections of this project during the Q2-26, coinciding with the mobilization and early implementation phases of the service delivery.
In accordance with corporate governance and transparency standards, MIS confirmed that there are no related parties involved in this transaction. The contract was awarded through standard procurement processes, ensuring that no board members or senior executives have a conflict of interest regarding the agreement with the NWC.
The partnership underscores the ongoing trend of digital transformation within Saudi Arabia’s utility sector.
By securing this contract, MIS continues to solidify its position as a key technical partner for major governmental and quasi-governmental organizations involved in the Kingdom’s infrastructure development.
