ASUS ROG Astral RTX 5090 Edition 20 Listed for $7,435, Becomes One of the Most Expensive GPUs
by Matt Lawrence · OnMSFTASUS has listed its ROG Astral RTX 5090 Edition 20 at a price that puts it among the most expensive RTX 5090 graphics cards seen so far. The special edition GPU has appeared at European retailer LDLC for €6,499.95, which converts to roughly $7,435, making it even pricier than several already costly premium RTX 5090 models.
ASUS ROG Astral RTX 5090 Edition 20 Price
LDLC listed the ASUS ROG Astral RTX 5090 Edition 20 with 32GB of GDDR7 memory, and the price quickly caught attention because the RTX 5090 market is already facing heavy price pressure. Many RTX 5090 cards have already crossed the $4,000 mark at major retailers, partly because of rising memory costs and limited premium GPU supply.
The ROG Astral RTX 5090 Edition 20 launched as part of ASUS ROG’s 20th anniversary lineup, which also included other high-end components and peripherals. Since ASUS positions the Astral series as one of its top GPU families, the premium pricing does not come as a surprise, but this listing still pushes the card into a much higher range.
More Expensive Than The ROG Matrix RTX 5090
The ROG Matrix RTX 5090 already launched at around $4,000, while some listings have placed it between $6,000 and $8,000. However, the ROG Astral RTX 5090 Edition 20 now shows that ASUS has another ultra-premium RTX 5090 sitting in the same expensive category.
ASUS has not confirmed whether the LDLC price reflects the official global price, so North American pricing can still differ. Even so, the listing suggests that the Edition 20 card will cost more than most RTX 5090 models when it reaches more stores.
For buyers, this card targets collectors and high-end PC builders who want a limited ASUS ROG design rather than the best value. The RTX 5090 remains a powerful GPU, but prices at this level make the Edition 20 a niche product for a very small audience.
