Lindsie Chrisley arrested on DUI, reckless driving charges in Georgia

by · The Washington Times

Lindsie Chrisley, an original cast member of the reality television series “Chrisley Knows Best” who departed the show in 2017, was arrested in Cherokee County, Georgia, over the weekend on suspicion of driving under the influence, according to jail records first reported by TMZ.

Ms. Chrisley’s charges included attempting to elude, improper passing, DUI, reckless driving and speeding. She was booked into jail Saturday night before bonding out early Sunday morning.

Ms. Chrisley disputed the circumstances of the stop in a statement to TMZ.

“I got pulled over speeding past a car on a two lane road because they almost hit an animal and I was trying to miss hitting them and whatever the animal was,” she said, adding that she plans to fight the charge.

The arrest comes amid a turbulent stretch for Ms. Chrisley off-camera. She and ex-boyfriend David Landsman recently agreed to a mutual no-contact order requiring both parties to remain 500 yards away from each other, their homes and workplaces through May 2027. The agreement also resolved a dispute over the couple’s dachshund, Oliver, who was returned to Ms. Chrisley.

The pair made competing allegations following an April domestic dispute. Mr. Landsman was later arrested on an aggravated assault-strangulation charge tied to the incident.

Ms. Chrisley is the eldest daughter of Todd and Julie Chrisley, who rose to fame through the USA Network series “Chrisley Knows Best,” which debuted in 2014. In 2022, the couple was convicted in federal court on charges including bank fraud and tax evasion and were later sentenced to prison. In 2025, they received presidential pardons from President Trump. Ms. Chrisley has long been estranged from her father; Todd Chrisley has alleged she cooperated with federal investigators during the fraud case against her parents, a claim she has denied.
