Let’s Get Out and Rejoice this Amarillo Celebration

· NewsTalk 1290

There is no doubt Amarillo had fun getting out and celebrating Halloween. You may have been getting the family dressed up and out to the different neighborhoods snagging some free candy.

Maybe you were on the giving end. You went out and prepared for trick-or-treaters in your neighborhood. You had bags and bags of candy. You could not wait until that first doorbell rang. You had candy to hand out and you would not be satisfied until that last piece of candy was given to a smiling child in costume.

Where did that leave you today? You either have a bucket full of candy that your kids won't share or you are out. Either way, we are now at the point where we can replenish. The best part is we can do it at a discount.

In most places, you will find half-price Halloween candy today. Stores are ready to move on to the next group of Holidays. We have Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year's to worry about now. So they want to get rid of all of the Halloween reminders. That was so yesterday.

If stores have big Halloween inflatables that they did not sell ahead of time those will be discounted too. If you want to stock up on Halloween costumes for next year you may find some of those too.

It is a wonderful time of year for those looking for a discount. Get out and find yours. Grab some candy. Grab some Halloween decorations. You deserve it. You will have a satisfied sweet tooth and wallet.

This is what we consider a win-win.
