Summer vacation is in full force for most El Paso school districts and soon teenage kids will be telling their parents how bored they are. Well, that’s when Planet Fitness comes in!

As the school year comes to an end, the 14 locally owned Planet Fitness locations across El Paso are opening their doors to high school students through the Annual High School Summer Pass™ program.

From June 1 through August 31, teens ages 14 to 19 can work out for free at any participating Planet Fitness location.

Planet Fitness Wants to Keep Teens Healthy During Summer Vacation

The program is designed to help teens stay active, build healthy habits, and have access to a safe and welcoming environment during the summer months when many organized activities are unavailable.

Since launching in 2019, the High School Summer Pass™ program has provided millions of teens across the United States and Canada with free access to fitness facilities. Planet Fitness estimates the initiative has resulted in more than $468 million in waived membership dues, helping promote both physical and mental wellness among young people.

Teens will have access to a wide variety of fitness equipment, including strength-training machines, cardio equipment, stretching areas, and more. Teens can also take advantage of free fitness training from certified trainers, teen-specific workout plans designed for safe and effective exercise, and hundreds of on-demand workouts through the Planet Fitness app.

Beyond the equipment and training, the program encourages teens to stay motivated in a judgment-free, non-intimidating environment and it keeps them busy, even if it’s just for an hour or so.

Teens interested in participating can sign up for the free summer membership now by clicking this link.
