Zero Chance Of A White Christmas In Oklahoma This Year

Well, there you have it, Oklahoma! It looks like there's no chance of the state getting a white Christmas this year. And it's looking like Oklahoma won't even feel like winter as a big warm-up is on the way.

We're officially a week out from Christmas Eve, and local meteorologists are calling it now: Oklahoma will not have a white Christmas this year. Of course, we're now getting all of the silly graphics about "snow chances" in Oklahoma this Christmas.

There are so many creative ways to say "no one in Oklahoma is getting a white Christmas this year!"

Oklahoma may not see any moisture until 2026.

According to the Oklahoma Mesonet, it's even looking like Oklahoma won't see any kind of moisture until 2026. So far, this December is on pace to be the driest December on record for Oklahoma.

Oklahoma expected to see warm and dry conditions to close out 2025.

As the end of the year draws near, it's looking like those warm and dry conditions expected for Christmas will carry through New Year's Eve. So you might as well plan some outdoor activities for Christmas and New Year's because it's very possible winter will return with a vengeance in 2026.

Oklahoma typically sees the most snow in January and February, and sometimes March has a few snowfalls. Oklahoma's extended weather outlook for winter has changed as the season approaches, so who knows what's in store for the start of 2026?
