I love how quickly things can change in Amarillo. You can drive by the same location in our town and watch it go from an empty lot to new life coming in. That is exactly what is happening at the corner of 27th and Osage.

Things have changed in that lot over the years. The area at 27th and Osage is growing. New businesses and shopping centers have been popping up all over the place. The growth of Amarillo is sure looking good for our city.

The Food Truck Success Story: Scaling Up

New businesses will soon be moving in. We recently found out about one such building that will be calling that area home. Right now it's an empty lot but soon it will have new life. It's a business that has been around for a while. It started as a local food truck favorite, and now it’s officially making the leap to a permanent storefront.

Tanya’s Burgers is rebranding to Tanya's Burgers and Chelas, and they’ll soon be opening their doors at 2606 S Osage Street.

Beyond the Burger: A New Menu Inspired by Northern Mexico

As their name has always implied, they will be serving burgers, but that is not all. The food truck had expanded to serving Mexican food as well. The permanent location will have much more of a menu when they open.

Family owned and inspired by the bold flavors of northern Mexico. From Chihuahua to Amarillo, we serve authentic Mexican food, cold chelas, and homemade recipes made with love.

This is fantastic news for the Amarillo food scene. Another food truck is succeeding in a way that they are able to expand. They are able to get that permanent location. They can also still keep the food truck for catering or events.
