Feria Juárez Returns to Plaza de la Mexicanidad in 2026

· NewsTalk 1290

I’ve lived in El Paso all my life and I am ashamed to say that I have not yet experienced a fair in our sister city, Juárez. Hopefully, that will change this year though because the Juárez Fair aka La Feria is back and officials say that it will be bigger and better!

La Feria is one of the city’s most anticipated traditions. It brings a mix of entertainment, culture, and economic activity back to the heart of the city.

Organizers say the focus this year is all about returning to the fair’s roots and creating an affordable, family-friendly experience that everyone can enjoy.

According to Net Noticias, local business leaders confirmed the fair will take place from June 11 through June 28 at the iconic Plaza de la Mexicanidad. After nearly a decade, the event will once again be organized by the Chamber of Commerce (Canaco Juárez) which is significant because it shows a renewed effort to revive one of the region’s most beloved community events.

Plans include live performances, popular attractions, and activities designed for all ages, with a strong emphasis on accessibility. No word yet on who will be performing, but past performers have included Gloria Trevi, AfroJack, to name a few!

Canaco Juarez president Iván Pérez Ruiz shared that the goal is to reconnect with the community and bring back the feeling of a “true people’s fair.”

The Feria Juárez is also expected to give a boost to the local economy. Businesses from across the city will have the opportunity to showcase their products and services, reviving the fair’s role as an important commercial hub.

The Feria Juárez is set to once again become a major summer highlight, blending culture, entertainment, and community pride in Ciudad Juárez, and hopefully this will be the year I can finally make it out there!
