Dry March likely to end on high temperatures before seasonal weather returns in April
March in the Netherlands is likely to end on a warm and dry note, but starting in April, meteorologists expect a return to more typical seasonal conditions, according to Weeronline.
The first ten days of March recorded average temperatures at record highs. After a short period of unsettled weather, the coming week is forecast to be largely dry and sunny, with highs around 15 degrees by midweek.
Weeronline predicts that the last week of March and the first week of April will likely remain mild, with temperatures on sunny days rising above 15 degrees, compared with the seasonal average high of around 12 degrees.
The dry pattern is expected to continue. “By the end of March it is often already predominantly dry, and April is generally the month with the least precipitation,” Weeronline said, adding that an umbrella will “really hardly be necessary.”
