Surprise September Pixel 11 Update Arrived

Google is rolling out a surprise Pixel 11 series update today for those who remain on the stable release channel and didn’t just update to the Android Beta builds available. The update is available right away to the Pixel 11, Pixel 11 Pro, Pixel 11 Pro XL, and Pixel 11 Pro Fold.

Google hasn’t shared any details on the update or posted factory images, but Verizon gave us the goods early and some folks have been able to install the update.

According to Verizon, the build is here as CD1A.260905.001.A1 for all four Pixel 11 models.

As for what’s new, we are only seeing that it “provides performance improvements and the most up to date Android security patches.” That new security patch is indeed the September patch.

To check for updates on your Pixel 11, head into Settings>System>Software updates>System update.
