The latest audit statement of the PM CARES Fund shows its balance swelled to Rs 8,452 crore by March 2025, of which nearly 93% was parked in fixed deposits. The Fund spent just Rs 87.85 lakh during the financial year, while it earned around Rs 475 crore in interest.
