Myanmar Military Aircraft Crashes After Bird Strike During Training Flight
A Myanmar Air Force fighter aircraft crashed near Hmawbi Township, Yangon Region, on the morning of 3 August after suffering a bird strike during a training flight, according to available information. The incident occurred at around 5:16 am when the aircraft was flying near Nyaunghnabin Village, approximately 8.5 kilometres southeast of Hmawbi. A bird reportedly struck the aircraft and was drawn into the engine, causing an engine fire.
