Yangon- Myanmar Railways has launched a modern air-conditioned Diesel Electric Multiple Unit (DEMU) train service on the Yangon–Pyay railway line, with the new trains officially beginning operations on July 31. The inauguration ceremony was held at Yangon Central Railway Station on Thursday ( July 31) morning. The event was attended by Union Minister for Transport and Communications U Mya Htun Oo, Yangon Region Chief Minister U Aung Naing Thu, and other government officials.
