Messenger, the messaging application used alongside Facebook, experienced a service disruption beginning at approximately 8:15 pm. on June 12, causing users to be unexpectedly logged out and unable to log back into their accounts. One user reported that he was sending messages on Messenger when the application suddenly logged him out and repeatedly requested that he sign in again. Despite multiple attempts, he was unable to regain access. After contacting a friend by phone, he learned that the friend had experienced the same issue.
