The CEIR and EIR System Project Steering Committee has announced that travelers entering Myanmar through land border checkpoints, seaports, and international airports may bring no more than two mobile phones per person, including the phone currently in use. Any mobile phone that has not yet been registered in the country's Central Equipment Identity Register (CEIR) system must be declared at the airport customs counter using a Passenger Declaration Form (PD Form).
