The Ministry of Communications is now sharing its target to achieve 100% internet access coverage in populated areas throughout Malaysia by 2027. This target is expected to be achieved under the implementation of the JENDELA plan, which aims for universal internet access in Malaysia. As of the end of 2025, broadband coverage in populated areas had reached 99.71%.
