Bhagwant Singh Mann said eligible women in Punjab will start receiving assistance under the Mukh Mantri Mawan Dheeyan Satkar Yojna from July 1. He said the scheme is aimed at boosting women's financial independence, dignity and wider participation in household and social decision-making.
