RV giant's dual-room roof tent makes car-top camping more like RVing
Dometic is a brand name so ubiquitous across the RV market, you're unlikely to go a full day in the segment without seeing it pop up somewhere – a stove, an air conditioner, a sink. Over the past decade, the Swedish staple has moved well beyond traditional motorhomes and caravans, into lighter, more flexible types of vehicle-based camping, purchasing brands like overlanding pioneer Front Runner while launching its own RV-without-the-RV hardware. The new Out-Post rooftop tent (RTT) brings those two worlds closer together. It looks like a standard family tent on the outside but comes embellished inside with RV-like features such as a room divider, convertible sofa-bed and stowable dining table.
