Dutch teachers report surge in Holocaust disinformation from TikTok and AI
History and social studies teachers at secondary schools across the Netherlands are regularly confronted in class with disinformation about the Holocaust that students encounter on TikTok and through artificial intelligence-generated images, according to a survey by NOS Stories that reached nearly all secondary schools in the country.A total of 190 teachers who teach about the Holocaust completed the questionnaire. Of those, 111 history and social studies teachers — the majority — reported being confronted with such disinformation.
