Drivers on the A1 highway toward Amsterdam will face major disruption this summer. Rijkswaterstaat will carry out extensive maintenance between the Eemnes junction and the Muiderberg junction. Travel times are expected to increase by 30 minutes to one hour, NH reports.The work begins at 11 p.m. on July 3. It is scheduled to continue until 5 a.m. on Aug. 17. Traffic in the opposite direction will remain open throughout the entire period.
