Nearly 40 percent of family law attorneys face threats, according to a survey by Investico in collaboration with RTL Nieuws and the Groene Amsterdammer. Threats are particularly common in cases involving domestic violence and intimate terrorism. Some family lawyers are accepting fewer cases for safety reasons, making it increasingly difficult for victims to find legal representation.
