A 74-year-old Dutch tourist drove his car onto a staircase in the center of the Belgian coastal town of Blankenberge on Monday morning and became stuck, according to the local broadcaster VRT.The man had reportedly blindly followed his navigation system. Local police said the driver was not under the influence of alcohol or drugs. “He was just distracted,” a police commissioner told VRT.The vehicle has been towed away.
