Motorists in and around Amsterdam are being advised to prepare for significant disruption this weekend because of maintenance works on sections of the A10 ring road and the A4. “Expect 30 to 60 minutes of extra travel time,” the municipality of Amsterdam warns. Train services to and from Amsterdam Central Station will also be heavily disrupted next weekend due to construction work, NS has announced. The disruption will follow days of cancellations due to the public transport strike.
