Apple's new 14-inch and 16-inch MacBook Pro models feature an upgraded six-speaker sound system, with redesigned woofers and tweeters, along with dedicated audio tuning for use with the lid closed. Apple says the new woofer design delivers 50% deeper bass, while redesigned tweeters improve clarity by shaping how sound disperses. The system continues to support Spatial Audio with Dolby Atmos. For the first time, Apple has also added dedicated audio tuning for closed-lid use.
