Everyone knows AIs don’t have feelings. What this show presupposes is … maybe they do? An episode of confrontations and commitments covers important emotional ground.

Butcherbird proves to be such an overwhelming enemy that Vision needs to turn to an unlikely ally: Ultron.

It’s hard to take the episode seriously when the series alternates between dramatically raising the stakes and undercutting the mood with jokes.

Vision’s struggle to process his connection to Tommy leads directly to catastrophe — including Ultron’s escape.
