Aegean Airlines broke the 2-million-passenger threshold in a single month, transporting 2,011,000 passengers in July 2026. The milestone was achieved despite the cancellation of many of its flights to the Middle East and rising fuel costs.

Both domestic and international routes recorded traffic growth of 5.3%.
