UK raises terror threat level after antisemitic attack

The Joint Terrorism Analysis Center said the terror level has been raised to severe, which means that an attack is highly likely in the next six months.

The UK's terror threat level has been raised from substantial to severe after a stabbing attack against the Jewish community in the London neighborhood ofGolders Green on Wednesday.

"Today, the national threat level has increased to 'severe,' which means a terrorist attack is considered highly likely," British Home Secretary Shabana Mahmood in a statement.

"I know this will be a source of concern to many, particularly amongst our Jewish community, who have suffered so much."
