Drone and weather balloon delay flights at San Diego International Airport

SAN DIEGO (KGTV) — Flights were delayed at San Diego International Airport after a drone and a weather balloon were spotted nearby.
Airport officials say the drone and weather balloon were spotted around 2 p.m., pausing arrival and departures, causing ground delays as a result.
As of 4:30 p.m., operations resumed back to normal.
