The years between were full. He moved to Manhattan, became a chazzan, married, and had a daughter. He kept touring: South Africa, Japan, Gibraltar, Brazil, Mexico, the United Kingdom, and elsewhere.
Through the touring and traveling, he began to notice something about what moves people, and what music holds in common across communities that otherwise share little. What he has discovered, he will convey through the music, one release at a time, until the answer is unmistakable.
“DANCE” makes the shift audible. The lyrics are about change; the vocal delivery leaves no doubt. The sound is still pop, more global and more mature than anything he has recorded. “I’m beyond excited to finally begin this new chapter,” he said. “You will hear it musically, you will notice it vocally, and you will feel it emotionally.” The next installments, he confirms, are already finished.
