Flying to Fort Lauderdale for the naming voyage of Celebrity’s new Edge-class ship, I strike up a conversation with a fellow traveller. “Celebrity, hey,” she asks. “So… who’s going to be on it?” As it turns out, the guest list is as A-list as the ship itself.
Among the VIPs is Donna Kelce, the world’s most famous NFL matriarch, though the honour of smashing the Veuve Clicquot over the hull goes to Godmother Janaína Torres – named the World’s Best Female Chef in 2024 by William Reed’s World’s Best awards.
