Sara Tendulkar, daughter of cricket legend Sachin Tendulkar, called out a paparazzo for body-shaming her through the caption of a video featuring her at an airport.

Earlier this week, Tahir Jasus shared a video on Instagram showing Sara at an airport along with her sister-in-law Saaniya Chandhok, who married Sara’s brother Arjun Tendulkar in March.

The now-deleted video featured an overlay text in Hindi that read: “Moti waali Sara hai, bagal waali bhabhi hai (The fat one is Sara, the one beside her is the sister-in-law).” The rather derogatory caption received criticism online, with many calling it invasive and inappropriate.

Sara later reposted a screenshot of the video on her Instagram story and lashed out at Tahir for the caption.

“You are disgusting. This is not ‘journalism’. Leave. Us. Alone,” she wrote.

In a follow-up line, she added, “You can delete your post, but that doesn't make you any less disgusting,” while tagging Tahir Jasus’ Instagram account.
