School ferries, staff shuttles and factory vehicles permitted for daily use
· Eleven Media Group Co., LtdSchool buses, employee ferry vehicles, goods distribution trucks and office-use vehicles operated by factories and workplaces have been permitted for daily use, according to a supplementary announcement released by the information team of the National Defence and Security Council.
The additional clarification was issued to ensure public convenience and facilitate smoother business operations, expanding the list of vehicles allowed for daily operation.
Under the new directive, vehicles newly included for daily use are staff ferry vehicles for factories, workshops and workplaces; vehicles used for goods distribution; office-use vehicles for factories, workshops and departments; and school ferry vehicles, the statement said.
The announcement also stipulates that such vehicles must limit the number of trips and the number of vehicles in operation to the minimum necessary. Authorities stressed that vehicles must be used strictly for the stated purposes. Drivers and passengers are required to carry valid identification or recommendation letters issued by the relevant departments, and vehicles must also possess supporting documents verifying their official use.
Previously designated vehicles permitted for daily operation include public transportation buses, taxis, fuel transport vehicles, construction vehicles, cargo transport vehicles, ambulances and funeral vehicles, as well as municipal waste collection trucks. The latest statement serves as a supplement to that earlier list.
