A woman was left surprised after stopping for a glass of sugarcane juice and discovering that the vendor running the stall was also a social media influencer with more than 1.25 lakh followers.
The story was shared by X user Pooja, who recounted the unexpected encounter in a post that has since caught attention online.
According to her, the discovery happened while she was visiting a local market and stopped at a sugarcane juice stall.
In her post, Pooja explained that her attention was drawn to an Instagram ID displayed prominently on the stall. At first, she assumed it had been written there casually or for promotional purposes.
However, curiosity got the better of her, and when she checked the account, she was stunned to see that it had amassed over 125,000 followers.
“Yesterday, I stopped at a sugarcane juice stall in the market, and my eyes suddenly got stuck on the Insta ID written on the stall,” she wrote.
“I thought it was just there for fun, then I saw the followers, 125K.”
Surprised by what she had found, Pooja said she immediately pointed it out to the vendor. “I instantly said, ‘Bro, you are a huge influencer,’” she recalled.
According to her, the vendor responded with a smile and a sense of humility, downplaying his online popularity.
“Nothing much, madam, I just post videos regularly. People seem to like them,” he replied.
The interaction left Pooja reflecting on how success and influence can often be found in unexpected places.
“Today, no hardworking person is ‘small’,” she wrote, adding that while some people build their future with a camera, others do so while operating a sugarcane machine.

The post prompted many users to share their thoughts on creators who quietly build audiences while continuing their everyday work.
Some commenters indirectly observed that many content creators never made a spectacle of their popularity, instead allowing their work and consistency to speak for itself.
Others pointed out that building a loyal online following was no easy achievement, indirectly writing that even well-funded personalities often struggled to create the kind of genuine audience that independent creators earned through years of effort.
Several users also echoed Pooja’s broader takeaway, indirectly arguing that dedication and consistency mattered more than profession or background, and that success today could emerge from almost anywhere.
